SOMETIMES THE SPOTS ARE ON THE INSIDE
186 Days on the Wall... Does your life sparkle?
How are you doing on your 2010 intentions? Are you coasting? Do you have someone to give you a push; someone to help pull you through? It does not matter where you are as long as you take stock in the process. It is amazing what you can see when you must stop and take a look around. I learned a lot about myself as I cleaned the dust out of the corners, swept away the cobwebs and now look out of sparkling clean windows.
If you follow my blog, technical difficulties forced me into submission and become aware of my surroundings (rather than being gleefully engrossed in the momentum my current project). Now, taking deep breaths and a long look around, I discovered dirty windows. Spots on the glass of the French door in my kitchen; when did that happen? Imagine my surprise when I realized most of the spots were on the inside. The glass could not sparkle until I cleaned the inside too.
Breathe in... breathe out... While cleaning the glass in my kitchen, it occurred to me that (Just like our windows) we have to do more than clean the outside of our lives to sparkle. Often, it requires us to cleanup the inside too — That may mean changing how we choose to THINK, ACT or FEEL.
