THE UNIVERSAL THREE LETTER WORD
You may utter it unexpectedly. It slips into your consciousness and slide through your lips from the center of your being. Or, you take note of it quietly as the thought enters only your mind. At some level, it is a stunning experience, which may leave you breathless in either a good way or a bad way. When it happens, you are taken aback by what you saw, felt or heard… perhaps all three.
The universal three letter word… W-O-W!
When it emerges, it’s a sign for you to stop to take-in whatever caused the emotion. It may come from a deep respect, disbelief, an understanding and appreciation; or, you may experience it in scorn, spurn, disparage, contempt or derision.
You heard the word (WOW) during the recent Winter Olympics during the commentary covering an athlete’s spectacular performance or stunning defeat. Actually, you don't have to be an superior athlete. You personally encounter that thought in your own experience.
“Wow, what a spectacular experience!
“Wow, did I really see that!”
“Wow, I cannot believe it! “
“Wow, do you know what you are saying?”
“Wow, what do you think this means? “
“Wow, I did not know that.”
“Wow!”
However you come into contact with the word… when WOW shows up, pay attention. It is a red-light moment. Stop! Take note of the experience whether it is an “aha” moment, an awesome experience or a lesson learned.
