PEACE... PASS IT ON!

         PEACE…

In her recent post in “The Bloomin’ Blog“, Mimi Meredith writes:
“In your quest for inner peace, perhaps you assume peaceful conditions are a prerequisite. Not so. In fact, the best peace practitioners are those who walk into the chaos and the clamor able to summon a sense of balance, calm and perspective that transcends the environment. Building that sense of stable support that grows from a peaceful center has four elements: efficacy, sufficiency, resilience and flexibility."

I love Mimi’s Meredith's insight and philosophy. Life isn’t without chaos whether you create it, or you allow yourself to get swept up in it.  That being said, you are naturally equipped with an internal gyroscope to physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually right yourself.  Magic happens when you recognize that you are perfectly tooled to live happy and amazing lives.  It is up to you to create and maintain your life-infrastructure.

How do you achieve balance, harmony and peace? By distinguishing your core centers-of-peace, adjusting your attitude and building the community and network that allows you grow, achieve and renew?  I wonder... September 21, we start our 100 day countdown to the New Year of Wonder.  How are you positioned for PEACE?  What would that mean to you?  Where would you start?  Read Mimi Meredith’s postings in “The Goodness Grows.”   Then (over the 100 day countdown), we will challenge, vision and define our communities with action steps and key people who both celebrate and support the life we create.

COACHING NOTES:

In his, A Perfect Life(TM) Program, Thomas Leonard lists twelve people you need in your life to build a community and network.  I challenge you to take his list below and replace the word “Someone” with “Who do I know”  and write the appropriate name next to the key.   I wonder, who will show up in your life who is already there and you didn’t see it.

TWELVE KEY PEOPLE TO HAVE IN YOUR COMMUNITY & NETWORK by Thomas Leonard

Someone who loves you for you, just because you are you.
Someone who isn’t afraid to be honest with you
Someone who is more evolved than you are.

Someone who is well-connected.

Some one who can solve your problems for you.

Someone you can rely upon in a crisis.

Someone who you love completely, just because.

Someone who is a cyber/tech wizard.

Someone in your field who is far more successful than you.

Someone who you are mentoring or coaching.

Someone who is mentoring and coaching you.

Suzy, I am honored to be featured and eager to walk with the savvy women you know in our practices of peace.

I loved your 100 day countdown last year! I can't believe it's coming up September 21st. It is perfect timing as I feel a new focus and spirit moving me onward and upward. Can't wait to get there with you!

Thanks for being a profoundly authentic and wonderful woman!

Hi Suzy! I enjoyed reading your posting, but was confused by the "TWELVE KEY PEOPLE" list, as there are only eleven people listed. Am I misreading something? I look forward to learning more about you, both professionally and personally. Thank you.

Good catch, Sharon; you are right!   The 12th key person is:    Someone who is well connected.

Thank you for your comment and interest, and I look forward to your input.
