THE SAVVY WOMAN'S GUIDE FOR GROWTH

CONFORMITY vs TRANSFORMATION
It is part of the human spirit to seek security, control, and affection (approval). Your perspective of life revolves around four stages of growth: 1) Survival, 2) Stability, 3) Success, and 4) Significance. Furthermore, you may confuse significance with privilege. Privilege speaks to conformity, while significance is the product of transformation.
Conformity often renders itself unreliable because it lacks predictability. It draws from an outside authority that manipulates your thoughts; leaving you with a false sense of security, control, and affection. Your reasons for conforming may stem from a high need for approval and desire to be liked. You may be avoiding scrutiny, criticism and judgment; or, you may just want to feel like you belong. Conformity is a survival technique that inhibits personal growth.
On the other hand, transformation is when your internal wisdom comes out. It speaks from your core; offering you room to grow and develop high self esteem. Achieving each level requires you to renew your mind. Transformation creates a natural synergy of your thoughts, feelings and behavior. You must continually replenish your thoughts to grow. Progressing from survival to stability requires you to change your habits. As you move from stability to success, your thinking shifts. When your level of success causes you to experience a natural change in your priorities, you reach significance.
